Cotton Tale

Cotton Tale is an investigation of the rabbit. During the dust bowl Texas and Oklahoma were notorious for large jack rabbit roundups. I consider the items in this exhibition my personal jack rabbit roundup. A curatorial archive dissecting the surface level of what the rabbit has become in consumer society and our visceral reactions to simple disfigurements, religious imagery association, and awkward juxtapositions.
